Radial bar chart
Concentric rings for progress and scores.
Each category becomes a ring whose length shows its value, like the activity rings of a fitness app. Ideal for progress towards goals and scores.

Editorial guide
When to use it
Typical use
Progress towards goals, scores and ratings, KPIs in annual reports and dashboards.
Better avoided
Comparing values precisely: outer rings look longer than inner rings for the same value.
Layout tips
- Order rings from largest value outside to smallest inside.
- Turn on the background ring so readers see what is left to reach.
- Use few rings, four or five at most.
