SheetSync — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SheetSync handles your data when you use the plugin.
Data We Collect
The only personal information we collect is your Google account email address, which is obtained when you connect your Google account to SheetSync. We do not collect your name, phone number, address, or any other personal data.
How We Use Your Data
Your email address is used solely to identify your account and maintain your authenticated session. We do not use your email for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the Google Sheets integration you requested.
Google User Data
SheetSync accesses your Google Sheets data solely to read the spreadsheet content you select and merge it into your Adobe InDesign documents. We do not share, transfer, sell, or disclose Google user data — including your Google account information and spreadsheet content — to any third party. Google user data is used exclusively within the plugin to perform the merge functionality you explicitly initiate.
Data We Process
SheetSync reads the content of Google Sheets spreadsheets that you explicitly select. This data is processed locally within your InDesign environment to populate your document templates. Spreadsheet content is never stored on our servers.
Security
OAuth tokens used to access your Google account are stored locally on your machine and are never transmitted to third parties. All communication with Google APIs uses HTTPS. You can revoke SheetSync's access to your Google account at any time via your Google account security settings.
Data Retention
SheetSync does not store your spreadsheet data on any server. OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device and are removed when you sign out of the plugin. We retain your email address only for as long as your account is active.
